What is Imposter?
Imposter (also called Who's the Spy or the impostor word game) went viral because it needs almost nothing: one phone is passed around, everyone secretly sees the same word except one player, and the group gives one-word hints until someone gets voted out as the impostor.
Tadado's Imposter mode works the same way: pass one phone, everyone holds to see the secret word, and the imposter's card is blank. Each player says one clue word, the group votes, and a caught imposter can still win by guessing the word. It plays with 3 to 12 people and uses Tadado's decks, including the free Halloween deck.

Imposter vs Tadado: questions
Does Tadado have an Imposter mode?
Yes. Imposter is one of Tadado's three modes, next to Forbidden Words and Heads Up. Everyone except the imposter sees the secret word, each player gives a one-word clue, and the group votes.
Which is better for big groups?
Both work with one phone. Imposter in Tadado plays with 3 to 12 people; for bigger groups, switch to Forbidden Words or Heads Up and split into teams so everyone keeps playing.
Is Tadado free like most Imposter apps?
Tadado is free to download with the free Tadado Mix deck, no ads and no subscription. Extra themed decks and AI packs are optional one-time purchases.
