The taboo board game, without the box

The box has a fixed number of cards, and after enough game nights your group knows them. That is the one flaw in an otherwise perfect party game. Tadado keeps everything that works, the describing, the forbidden words, the buzzer, the 60-second panic, and fixes the ending: 1,425 catalogue cards to start with, and an AI engine that writes a brand new deck whenever you want one.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the official Taboo board game?+

No. Tadado is an independent party word game that uses the same describe-without-the-forbidden-words format. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the publisher of the Taboo board game.

How many cards do you get?+

The catalogue has 1,425 cards across seven decks: Classic, Cinema, Travel, Sports, Summer, Heroes and Midnight Fun. On top of that the AI engine generates unlimited custom decks from your own prompts.

Does it work without internet?+

Yes. Gameplay is fully offline, so it works on a plane, in the car or at a house with bad wifi. You only need a connection to generate a new AI deck.

Bring the game, not the box

Free to download for a limited time on iOS and Android. The Classic deck is included, and it works offline so it travels better than cardboard.
